National LSM Gathering Wrap up

Crazy kids from all over the country gathered for a time filled with awesome speakers, great music and new friends.  Ohh, and did I mention the wonderful weather.  December 29 found some warm Tri-Otans in Houston, TX for the time of their life.  Some took the plane, but most took to the open road to get there.  Once there, we were able to meet others from not only Tri-Ota but from any other places as well.  Worship was lead by none other than Dakota Road who is from the Tri-Ota region!  They did an awesome job of getting a bunch of Lutherans to clap and move to songs (and let me tell you that is no easy feat!).  There were times for workshops on areas that were interesting to us, from Outdoor Ministry to Lutheran World Relief there was something for everyone.  For many, one of the highlights of the trip was going to NASA for the evening.  I know that I had fun!  New Year's Eve found us all dining in style and then partying like it was 1999.  The New Year was rung in and I could not think of a better place to be at that moment then with a group of HOT Lutherans in Houston.
