Elements Coffeehouse opened in August 2005 at the beginning of North
Dakota State University's fall semester. Since then, Elements
has become more and more popular with students and faculty.
Elements Coffeehouse is a non-profit, volunteer run coffeehouse. The entire staff is made up of mostly student volunteers and some community volunteers. By having a staff who is completely volunteer, we can lower our prices and give the students a little break. Elements Coffeehouse is proud to be selling Equal Exchange Fair-Trade Coffee. Fair-Trade coffee helps support the small-scale coffee bean farmers across the world. This helps guarantee the farmers a fair price for their coffee beans. By doing this it ensures the farmers that they will have enough money to cover the cost of production and a living wage for their labor. If you would be interested in volunteering at Elements, please email the coffeehouse manager or call 701-232-2587.
